It fits the large Rochester end carbs from 1959 to 1966, including Olds L-69 tripowers, and Cadillac 1959 and 1960. You cannot tell this air horn from the original. It fits well, and all the attaching screws line up perfectly. At this time, there is only one manufacturer for this item. There has been one issue with these air horns ever since they were first reproduced. The holes for the float pin have been in the wrong location, making it very difficult to set the float. What we have found out by trail and error is that the Black composite float that we sell in the shopping cart for $12.95 works great. Very easy to set the float. We include one composite float with each air horn purchased. We also remove the existing accelerator pump lever\/shaft\/pump bracket, as they do not always move freely. It is best to use your original lever and shaft if you have. If you do not have your original pump lever assembly we do sell the complete assembly in the shopping cart for $21.00. I explain all this to justify the cost of this item, should you compare our price to other parts suppliers. Ours are better,we aim to please! If you are considering a new air horn, because the fuel inlet threads are worn out, know that we offer a service to replace these threads. Sometimes the fuel drips into the manifold, resulting in hard starting. Or, if the car sits, it can be hard to start as the float bowls are empty. Here is what is happening...Today's Ethanol laced fuel boils at 20 or more degrees lower than straight gasoline. After car is shut off, heat from the motor is absorbed into the carburator...a heat sink. Phenolic has a \"high coefficient of heat transfer,\" and is often used in applications as this one to insulate a hot surface from an adjoining piece. The bulletin described how to apply the sealer and directed the mechanic to the parts counter for a small vile of sealer, a small paint brush, and directions. DAG213 does an excellent job,. but will not help badly pitted throttle blades, or badly pitted bores. I use this product on all the end carb throttle bodies I restore. I have seen some criticize this product. Hmmm. Can't understand that. You want a good idle, you need to have the end carb throttle blades sealed the best you can. I still find it on some of the end carbs I restore. I have heard some criticize this product, saying that comes off with carb cleaner. Might be so. But, why would you spray carb cleaner down an end carb, anyway? So, if you use the sealer, don't use carb cleaner. It is hard to find for several reasons...1) Suppliers sell it in large quantities ..like a gallon for over 500. 2) It has a 24 month shelf life from time of manufacture. Here is the deal...if you buy the DVD I sell on the page..it includes instructions for application. Shows a video of me, applying the sealer, in fact. AND if you buy a set of rebuild kits....I will give you the DAG 213 sealer. But, you will need to remind me of this... there is a place for notes to me when you are checking out. If you miss this...send me a short e-mail. Again, to be clear, buy the DVD and the carbs kits and the DAG213 is included at no charge. Otherwise, it is 15.00. There will be enough to seal several sets of throttleblades. Know, though, that the sealer will not last long in the small bottle I send you. So, I suggest using it within 30 days.
