This 2 piece needle/seat is made in the USA. It has a larger inlet orifice than the stock parts. The "needle" has a much larger diameter than the original. On the end of the needle is a soft, Ethanol resistant disc. It was designed such that it would let small pieces of debris to flow through the seat, and past the needle to avoid a sticking float. We has been using these for several years in all the restorations, with good results, as well as the conventional needle / seat with tapered pointed tip.
